J Frame Revolver Speed-Loader belt Pouch

by Retro-Tactical on August 28, 2010

This was one of those products that started as a custom and evolved into a product. I was approached to make a minimalist J Frame Speed Loader – 5 rounds of .38/.357 (Ruger SP101). The pouch had to be an unobtrusive, belt pouch with a Velcro closure. This is what I came up with:

5 Rounds of .357

It is small, no more than 1.5 wide by 2 high, and .5 deep when empty.

Unobtrusive

The Velcro is backed with elastic and that keeps the pouch and speed loader compressed, in two directions, keeping it firmly in place.

That is a thick, 1.5″ leather belt and it fits easily.

I haven’t tried anything else in the pouch yet, but it looks like it would hold a lighter, or small Altoids tin. Guess I need to check that!
